INTERACTIVE FLOOR PLANS
At Ocean8 we use 2 dimensional Interactive Floor Plans as a navigational aid to help users navigate around the property. Whilst Interactive Floor Plans are mainly used in real estate and hotels virtual tours and are completely optional, Ocean8 can produce Interactive Floor Plans for use with virtual tours of interiors, Amusement Parks, Scenic Areas etc. If a floor plan or layout can be drawn then Ocean8 can produce an Interactive Floor Plan.

So how does an Interactive Floor Plan work? The user simply clicks on a room or area on the floor plan to quickly jump to the virtual tour image for that part of the property. Interactive Floor Plans provide the user with a quick idea of the layout and space of the property, visualising how each room of the house joins up and the size of each room in relation to the scale of the property. If you happen to get lost while taking a virtual tour, never fear, the Interactive Floor Plan will show you exactly where you are by highlighting the room or area you are currently in with a colour fill.
